BALOO stands for Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation. It is required that at least one Cub Scout leader be BALOO trained for the pack to go on campouts. IOLS stands for Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills. This is required training for Webelos Leaders and for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters.
